Dit instrument werd goedgekeurd door de Raad van Bestuur van de World Leisure Association in juli 2000. De originele versie werd aangenomen door de Internationale Recreation Association in 1970, en vervolgens herzien door haar opvolger, de World Leisure and Recreation Association in 1979. Het richt zich op de vrijheid van het individu om activiteiten en ervaringen tijdens de vrije tijd zelf in te vullen. Hoewel de verklaring niet specifiek ingegaan op kinderen, vallen zij onder de term "alle personen" en "het individu". |
| Summary: |
This Charter was approved by the World Leisure Board of Directors in July 2000. The original version was adopted by the International Recreation Association in 1970, and subsequently revised by its successor, the World Leisure and Recreation Association in 1979. It addresses the freedom of individuals to choose their leisure activities and experiences. Even though the Declaration does not specifically address children, they are covered by the term “all persons” and “the individual”. |
