In dit document legt het Comité haar Slotbeschouwingen voor inzake de uitdagingen en verwezenlijkingen met betrekking tot de implementatie van OPAC in België. De verschillende onderdelen behandelen een aantal positieve aspecten, belangrijke werkpunten en aanbevelingen. België dient zich te concentreren op de vooruitgang van een aantal algemene implementatiemaatregelen; het aannemen van maatregelen ter bevordering van sociale herintegratie; en het afschaffen van handel in oorlogsmateriaal met landen waar kinderen deelnemen aan gewapende conflicten.
In bijlage vindt men het initiële Belgische Rapport onder OPAC, de List of Issues van het Comité en het Belgische antwoord daarop, en de Slotbeschouwingen zelf. |
| Summary: |
In this document, the Committee presents its Concluding Observations on the challenges and achievements regarding Belgium’s implementation of OPAC. The different sections address positive aspects, principal areas of concern and recommendations. In particular, Belgium must enhance a number of general measures of implementation; adopt measures with regard to social reintegration; and abolish trade in war materiel with countries where child soldiers take part in hostilities.
Attached one finds the Belgian Initial State Report under OPAC, the Committee’s List of Issues and the Belgian reply thereto, and the Concluding Observations themselves. |
