Summary: This recommendation calls for a further step to be taken towards establishing effective cooperation between the Member States, the industry and other interested parties as regards the protection of minors and human dignity in the broadcasting and Internet services sectors. It supplements Council Recommendation 98/560/EC on the same subject, taking into account recent technological developments and the changing media landscape.
