Het rapport vult het Belgische gecombineerde vijfde en zesde periodieke rapport voor het Comité voor de Rechten van het Kind aan met ervaringen en informatie vanuit het perspectief van de NGO’s. Er worden 13 thema’s afgebakend, gekozen vanuit de maatschappelijke noodzaak en opgebouwd volgens de structuur van het Kinderrechtenverdrag. Summary: In an attempt to create a complete picture of how Belgium translates the Convention on the Rights of the Child into practice, the Belgian NGOs in this report analyse the conformity of Belgian legislation with the CRC, as well as the extent to which this legislation is applied. The report complements the Belgian combined Fifth and Sixth Periodic Report to the Committee of the Rights of the Child with experiences and information from the NGOs’ perspective. There are 13 themes delineated, chosen from the social need and built according to the structure of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
