Deze resolutie gaat over de Rechten van het Kind. De resolutie benadrukt het feit dat het Verdrag inzake de Rechten van het Kind de standaard vormt voor de bevordering en bescherming van de Rechten van het Kind. Hierin wordt bevestigd dat de lidstaten alle passende wettelijke, bestuurlijke en andere maatregelen moeten ondernemen voor de uitvoering van de rechten. Hierbij ook rekening houden met de Facultatieve Protocollen bij het Verdrag is van belang. Hierin wordt opgeroepen tot de universele ratificatie en effectieve uitvoeringen en dit ook bij andere mensenrechten instrumenten. |

This resolution is about the Rights of the Child. The resolution stresses the fact that the Convention on the Rights of the Child constitutes the standard in the promotion and protection of the rights of the child, reaffirming that States parties to the Convention shall undertake all appropriate legislative, administrative and other measures for the implementation of the rights recognized therein, while bearing in mind the importance of the Optional Protocols to the Convention, and calling for their universal ratification and effective implementation, as well as that of other human rights instruments. |
