De rapporteur inzake de verkoop van kinderen, kinderprostitutie en kinderpornografie legt dit verslag voor aan de Raad voor de mensenrechten op zijn tweeëntwintigste zitting, op grond van de resoluties 13/07 en 19/37 van de Raad. Dit rapport beschrijft de door haar uitgevoerde activiteiten sinds het laatste rapport in maart 2012. Ook biedt het rapport een thematische studie over de bescherming van kinderen tegen seksuele uitbuiting in de reis- en toeristische sector door middel van een overzicht van de huidige situatie van de seksuele uitbuiting van kinderen in de reis- en toeristische sector. Er worden concrete aanbevelingen gedaan om effectieve bescherming van kinderen tegen dit fenomeen te kunnen voorzien. |

The Special Rapporteur on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography submits the present report to the Human Rights Council at its twenty-second session, pursuant to Council resolutions 7/13 and 19/37.This report describes the activities carried out by the Special Rapporteur since her last report in March 2012 and provides a thematic study on the protection of children from sexual exploitation in travel and tourism presenting an overview of the current situation of the sexual exploitation of children in travel and tourism and making practical recommendations to ensure the effective protection of children from this phenomenon. |
