Dit rapport is ingediend op grond van de Algemene Vergadering resolutie 66/141. De rapporteur beschrijft haar activiteiten sinds haar vorige verslag in verband met de uitoefening van haar mandaat aan de Vergadering. Ook analyseert zij de rol van de participatie van kinderen met betrekking tot het voorkomen en bestrijden van de verkoop en de seksuele uitbuiting van kinderen en biedt praktische begeleiding gebaseerd op het werken met kinderen als partners. Ze maakt specifieke aanbevelingen over het tot stand brengen en versterken van de participatie van kinderen binnen een rechtengebaseerd en omvangrijk kinderbeschermingssysteem. |
| Summary: |
The present report is submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 66/141. The Special Rapporteur describes her activities in relation to the discharge of her mandate since her previous report to the Assembly. She also analyses the role of child participation in preventing and combating the sale and sexual exploitation of children and provides practical guidance on the lessons learned in working with children as partners. She makes specific recommendations on how to establish and strengthen child participation within a rights-based comprehensive child protection system. |
