Het doel van de Commissie is ervoor te zorgen dat het telefonische meldpunt 116 000 voor vermiste kinderen overal in de EU volledig in gebruik wordt genomen. Daartoe heeft deze mededeling twee doelen. Enerzijds wil de Commissie de lidstaten opnieuw vragen om van de invoering van het telefonische meldpunt voor vermiste kinderen een prioriteit te maken. Anderzijds wil de Commissie ervoor zorgen dat overal in de Unie dezelfde kwalitatief hoogwaardige dienstverlening wordt geboden. De mededeling bestaat uit drie delen: in het eerste deel wordt nagegaan wat de invoering van het telefonische meldpunt belemmert in de lidstaten waar de dienst nog steeds niet in werking is gesteld. In het tweede deel worden beste praktijken en oplossingen besproken waarmee de betrokken lidstaten die belemmeringen zouden kunnen wegnemen. In het derde deel worden gemeenschappelijke minimumnormen voorgesteld om te garanderen dat het telefonische meldpunt een kwalitatief hoogwaardig dienstverlening biedt. |
| Summary: |
The goal of the Commission is to ensure that the 116000-hotline for missing children is made fully operational everywhere in the EU. Concretely, the purpose of this Communication is twofold. On the one hand, the Commission renews its call on the Member States to implement the missing children hotline as a matter of priority. On the other hand, the Commission intends to ensure that the same high quality of service is offered throughout the Union. The Communication is structured in three sections: the first section identifies the obstacles preventing the implementation of the hotline in those Member States where the service is still not operational. The second section identifies best practices and solutions to help the Member States concerned to overcome the obstacles identified. The third section proposes common minimum standards guaranteeing a high quality of service for the hotline. |
