| Samenvatting: | Het programma “Building a Europe for and with Children” werd gelanceerd in april 2006 om de rechten van het kind te bevorderen. Het komt voort uit de toezeggingen die regeringsleiders van de Raad van Europa maakten tijdens de top in Warschau in 2005. De Stockholm Strategie, die de tweede beleidscyclus (2009-2011) van het programma vormgeeft, is opgebouwd rond vijf doelstellingen: integratie en coördinatie van kinderrechten; bevordering van de toegang van kinderen tot justitie; uitroeien van alle vormen van geweld tegen kinderen; participatie van kinderen en hun invloed in de samenleving; en bijzonder kwetsbare kinderen. |
| Summary: | The programme 'Building a Europe for and with Children' was launched in April 2006 to promote the rights of the child. It stems from the commitment that the Heads of States and Governments made at the Council of Europe Third Summit in Warsaw in May 2005. The Stockholm Strategy, which gives concrete shape to the second policy cycle (2009-2011) of this programme, is built around five objectives: mainstreaming and co-ordination of children’s rights; promotion of children’s access to justice; eradication of all forms of violence against children; participation of children and their influence in society; and particularly vulnerable children. |
