The theory of social vulnerability is the central point of the research of Nicole Vettenburg, as well as the commitment to take concrete steps from this theory towards developments in practice and policy. The book contains contributions written from a background of different disciplines, and collected under five themes: youth delinquency and social vulnerability, education and social work, prevention, youth research and restorative justice and forensic social work. The book offers an overview of current research in relation to these themes and to important topics of discussion in youth criminology, social work and the relation between education and social work. |
