Dit project betreft de implementatie van ‘Life Space Crisis Intervention’ (LSCI). LSCI is een therapeutische en verbale strategie die toegepast wordt bij kinderen en jongeren in crisis en baseert zich op de cognitieve, gedragsmatige, psychodynamische en ontwikkelingstheorieën. De doelstelling van dit onderzoek is tweeledig: (1) informatie verzamelen over kinderen en jongeren met gedrags- en emotionele stoornissen in de Vlaamse zorg; en (2) het onderzoeken van het proces van implementatie van methodieken rond conflicthantering bij kinderen en jongeren met gedrags- en emotionele stoornissen in Vlaamse voorzieningen. Het onderzoek vindt plaats in twee verschillende Vlaamse voorzieningen. De onderzoeksperiode in de eerste voorziening betreft het jaar 2005 tot en met 2008. De onderzoeksperiode in de tweede voorziening betreft het jaar 2008 tot en met 2014. |

This research concerns the implementation of Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI). LSCI is a therapeutic and verbal strategy used to intervene when children or adolescents are in crisis, and is based on cognitive, behavioural, psychodynamic and developmental theory. The aims of the research project are twofold: (1) to gather information about children and youngsters with emotional and behavioural disorders (EBD) in Flemish care; and (2) to investigate the process of implementation of conflict management methods in Flemish institutes for children and adolescents with emotional and behavioural disorders. The research takes place in two Flemish institutes for youth with EBD. The research in the first institute starts in 2005 and ends in 2008. The research in the second institute starts in 2008 and ends in 2014. |
