Dit project betreft onderzoek naar de GAS (Gemeentelijke Administratieve Sancties) en minderjarigen. De Wet betreffende de gemeentelijke administratieve sancties van 24 juni 2013 ontketende heel wat commotie bij het grote publiek, onder meer door de specifieke focus op minderjarigen. Het is echter nodig om de GAS-boete voor minderjarigen in haar volledig wetgevend kader te bekijken om het gehele systeem te kunnen plaatsen. Dit onderzoeksproject bespreekt daarom grondig de regelgeving rond de oplegging van gemeentelijke administratieve sancties aan minderjarigen. Daarbij wordt een grondige vergelijking gemaakt tussen het oude GAS-systeem en het nieuwe systeem ingevoerd in de Wet van 24 juni 2013. |
| Summary: |
This project concerns research into the ‘GAS’ (Municipal Administrative Sanctions) and minors. The Law concerning the municipal administrative sanctions from the 24th of June 2013 triggered a lot of commotion amongst the general public, namely because of the specific focus on youth. To situate the system surrounding the ‘GAS’, it is necessary to examine the ‘GAS’ sanction for minors in its complete legislative framework. This research project therefore discusses in depth the regulations surrounding the application of these municipal administrative sanctions on minors. More specifically, an in depth comparison is made between the old ‘GAS’ system and the new ‘GAS’ system as initiated in the Law of the 24th of June 2013. |
