Inclusief onderwijs gaat over de verbetering van de leeromgeving en het scheppen van kansen voor alle kinderen. In deze resolutie roept PACE de lidstaten op om zulk onderwijs te promoten en te bevorderen voor kinderen met een beperking of ziekte. Struikelblokken naar zulk systeem moeten worden weggewerkt; gelijke toegang tot onderwijs moet voor alle kinderen op elk niveau gegarandeerd worden; leraren moeten degelijke training krijgen; statistische informatie inzake kinderen met een handicap moet geüpdatet, verzameld en openbaar gemaakt worden; en een positieve instelling tegenover inclusiviteit moet gepromoot worden. |
| Summary: |
Inclusive education is about improving learning environments and providing opportunities for all children. In this resolution, PACE calls on member states to promote and enhance such education for children with disabilities or illnesses. Barriers to inclusive education must be eradicated; equal access to education should be granted to all children at every level; teaching materials must be accessible to children with disabilities; teachers must receive appropriate training; updated statistical information on children with disabilities must be collected and made available; and positive attitudes towards inclusion must be promoted.
