Het INCLUDE-project beoogt het welzijn van kinderen in alle fasen van een internationale kinderontvoering te verbeteren door aanbevelingen te formuleren en goede praktijken te delen met juridische en andere professionals. In de Praktijkgids staat het perspectief van kinderen en jongeren centraal. De Gids vertrekt van wat 44 kinderen en jongeren tussen 10 en 17 jaar uit Hongarije, Cyprus en België belangrijk vinden om mee te geven aan professionals die met een kinderontvoering in aanraking (kunnen) komen. De thema’s die aan bod komen zijn interactiestijl, informatie en dialoog, vertrouwensrelaties, ondersteuningsfiguren en een op rechten gebaseerde terugkeer. De Praktijkgids is het resultaat van een multidisciplinaire samenwerking tussen Hintalovon (Hongarije), Hope for Children (Cyprus), Missing Children Europe en Universiteit Antwerpen. |
| Summary: |
The INCLDUE-project aims to enhance the wellbeing of children at all stages of an international child abduction by providing guidelines and good practices to legal and other professionals. Children’s perspectives are central to the Guide to Good Practice. The Guide is based on what 44 children and young people between 10 and 17 years old from Hungary, Cyprus and Belgium consider to be good practice for adults in a context of child abduction. Five themes are covered: interaction style, information and dialogue, relationships of trust and affection, supporting adults and rights-respecting return. The Guide is the result of a multidisciplinary collaboration between Hintalovon (Hungary), Hope for Children (Cyprus), Missing Children Europe and the University of Antwerp. |
