Het derde Facultatief Protocol bij het Verdrag inzake de Rechten van het Kind stelt een communicatieprocedure in, waardoor kinderen, of hun vertegenwoordigers, klachten inzake vermeende schendingen van kinderrechten voor het Comité voor de Rechten van het Kind kunnen brengen, als zij voor deze schendingen in hun eigen land geen juridisch herstel hebben kunnen bekomen. |
| Summary: |
The third Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child provides a communications procedure, which makes it possible that children, or their representatives, bring claims on possible violations of children’s rights before the Committee on the Rights of the Child, if they have not been able to obtain remedies for these violations in their countries. |
